The app embed allows Free Trust Badge to run code in your online store without modifying your theme files. This code will be automatically removed if you ever decide to uninstall the app.
It is disabled by default, and until you enable the app embed, badges will not appear. Additionally, it must be enabled for any new theme you publish.
The app embed can be enabled from your theme's customization settings.
- Go to "Online Store" in the left pane of the Shopify admin.
- Choose "Customize" for the live theme.
- Choose "Theme settings" at the bottom of the left pane
- Finally, select the "App embeds" tab.
Important Note
If you enable the app embed via a link/button in Free Trust Badge you may see a message stating the app embed is enabled. However, you must click "Save" in the upper right for this change to actually be saved!
